A familiar face returns...

Ash Harbor has been super busy and adding another detective to the Ash Harbor force is a necessity for sure. Lots going on with the summer and new people moving daily.


      The Captain Darnell knew who to call. He heard that a former Det. of there's was interested in returning. Her name was Kat Reynolds. She was quite but mighty tough. She was not only strong and could take on any man she was beautiful.

A few years back when she was working there Detective Josh Coasts and Detective Reynolds got very cozy and had a short romance. When she left it really crushed Josh. He spiraled after that.Dating who ever. Hooking up with anyone who gave him the slightest affection. When he heard she would return he was very unsure of the whole thing. He knew they needed the other person but he just could not shake the large lump he felt in his stomach.



A couple days later Josh was shooting the breeze with James and Dominic. Dominic was marrying his best friend of 8 years Charice the next morning and Josh wanted to hassle him a little. Josh and James tolerate one another. James knew Josh had a thing for Julianna but James was not worried. Things between those two was great!

Josh- soooo Dom big day tomorrow eh?
Dom- yea but Charice and I have been together this long and so it just is right! 
Josh- she's definitely got it going on!
James cant help but laugh at Josh and his crudeness. 
Dom- dude that's my wife almost , shut the hell up!

Josh suddenly stopped and looked like he seen a ghost. His throat got dry and he felt like he was spinning. He was straight ahead not focusing on anything but what he saw. Dominic could tell he was in tuned so he asked him. 

Dominic- Josh, yo dude ya aight? 
Josh- ugh huh yea yea I'm fine... And then the door opened .... 

Darnell walked in with a pretty lady. James and Dominic were not to sure who she was but Josh did.

Darnell- fellows this is Kat Reynolds your new co worker! Kat this is Dominic and James and uh well you know Josh 
Josh stared at Kat. She hadn't Changed. She was beautiful and he felt his stomach churn....

Josh- hey 
Kat- *shyly * hey
The air was thick in there and you could cut it with a knife!

Darnell- well alright y'all Kat will be in tomorrow she will work day shift and into the night a little.

Then Darnell and Kat left out of the room. Josh could breath a sign of relief. But he was very flustered. Kat got his blood boiling and his body feeling like fire. The two had such passion before she left. Josh began to think of that night and then he was slowly pulled back to reality. 

Darnell and Kat left and Josh felt like he could finally breath again. Damn her coming back he thought but shit she was so damn beautiful and sexy and Josh wanted that again. 
Dom- duuuude is that the "Kat" you umm were banging? 
Josh- yea just a piece of ass * meanwhile in his head she wasn't just a piece of ass*
James- you dog you *hahah*
Josh- shut up
James- well come on you said it your self women love you!
Josh- yea... well they do and i I remember the one your with wanted it not so long ago 
James- dude fuck you...
Dom- alright guys settle down now y'all taking a brother out before I get hitched 
James- yeaaa come on let's hit burger barn..


A DAY LATER.....


Josh was in his office working on a case. Going over evidence and files. The whole time he did it he was having a hard time concentrating. His mind though of Kat. Seeing her in those skin tight jeans and her beautiful striking eyes. Dammit he thought snap out of this! She was not worth it. 

When Josh decided to get on the computer he heard a knock. Then when he looked up he saw who it was! KAT!!! His heart slammed into his stomach and he felt like he became light headed. He motion her in. 

 Josh- come in!

* Kat walked in a little nervous she was back only for a day but things were weird between her and Josh*

 Josh- Can I help you?
Kat- ughh no I just wanted to bring you the files and let you know that Darnell wants me on the case with you!
Josh- WHAT..... I mean oh ok... Yea I guess two is better then one on this case.
Kat- ha yea... so I will work on some stuff and I will compare with you in a day or two?
Josh- ok sounds good..

Kat glanced at him again she tried hard not to look at that white shirt that hugged him in all the right places. His body always was very much a turn on to Kat. She started to think of the night they last were together. The thought of it made her body hot. Her face got red and she could feel a feeling of electric running thru her body. 

Kat- ughhh so umm yea... I will go and maybe we can compare notes ok!!

Josh- ughh ok... sounds good.

Then Kat turned and walked out. As fast as she came in. Josh had a feeling of relief. But, he was struggling. Looking at her standing there brought back all feelings of anger and pleasure wrapped together.

He stared a little while at the door. Like he would lure her back in with his eyes. Why did she have to come back to Ash Harbor? Why did she have to be so beautiful. Why WHY!!! Dammit stop this Josh thought! You have to put her out of your mind!!!!



Later that evening he knew he needed to let loose. Have a few drinks and well we will see what happens. He decided to go out with Jai and Armando. Those two would make it a good time for him. At least he would have some laughs.


Saturdays in Ash Harbor are fun. Everyone loves to get together at the country club. There is drinks, beautiful women, food, beautiful women and games and did I mention beautiful women.

  Melina is back in time so she wanted to go out with some of her friends. Eden and Miranda. The three girls were looking amazing!!!

Eden- I am glad I came out I am enjoing this! 
Melina- Girl yes, and mmm the men are fine!!!!!

 Miranda- girl those three over there are checking us out!
Eden- Nahh !!!
Miranda- ugh HELL YES and mmm there fine as hell!

Josh, Armando and Jai had there full attention locked on those girls. They looked amazing and these three guys were ready to cut loose.

Josh- that one in the Pink glasses is checking you out Jai!

Jai- she can get it!

Armando- fuck that one with the jean skirt dayummm 

* all the guys laugh as they swig there beers*



    

Jai- well fellas I am going to go dive in... (smirking)

watch and take lessons from a real man...

Jai got his beer and walked over to were the ladies were standing! 

Melina- Hiiii * she smirked as she raised her sunglasses*

Jai- heeyyy * then Jai realized she looked really firmalar*

Melina- you look umm...

Jai- Familiar? Yea girl you too

Melina- I am Melina Perez...

Jai- girl, your Melina Perez! Hey its Jai Vaughn how are ya girl.

Melina- Jai oh my god its been forever!!!

Jai- yea..... damnnnn girl your grown, and fine as hell!!!

Melina- aww thanks hah...

Jai- you living back here now?

Melina- yea I am actually. *Smiling*

Jai-mmmmm good.... that makes me happy.,...

Jai had his way with the ladies and he was sure happy to see this one was back in town.

 Josh walked over. The tall one that was in the middle was very pretty. She seemed mysterious and he liked that. Anything to get his mind off everything tonight. He was off to explore and let loose and try and forget about Kat! 

Josh- I am Josh *he said*

Eden- Hi there I am Eden

Josh- what a unique name i love it!

Eden- haha was my daddy's choice.

Josh- I like it. Fits you perfect!!!

Josh and Eden talked for a while. Laughing and giggling. Josh loved the way her eyes shined in the sunshine. Her skin glistened when the sun hit it just right. She had the plumpest cutest lips. Lips that Josh could see himself kissing them an biting them.. She was such a mystery tho still...

Armando - Hey.... 
Miranda- hey, I wondered when you would talk to me..
Armando- well ya know... my friends were trying to get to your girls 
Miranda - I see that... but... I am glad you decided to talk to me 
Armando- I m Armando
Miranda- nice to meet you I am Miranda 


Armando was busy talking with Miranda. Those two were really hitting it off good. Armando has been on a little bit of a weird spiral since his break up with Gabby.




Josh spent the evening with Eden nothing happened. Sunday was a day of rest for him. Monday morning came and he was in the police dept busy as ever.

Going over more of the evidence and files he had. Josh's mind was on Eden a little. She was interesting and he liked her. He planned to meet her at Baked with Love later that afternoon.

Kat came in to let Josh know she would be helping him with the Sanderson Case. Kat held the files in her hand. She had a firm grip on them. Bending them with her fingers she felt nervous and unsure Josh would want to have her assistance.

Kat- *ahem* 
Josh didn't even need to look up he knew who it was. Her scent lingered in the air and shot straight up into his nose.

Josh- hi (he said with a stern face )
Kat- I have some new information and leads with the Sanderson case. Darnell asked if we work together on it.
Josh- yea I got the forwarding email. 
Kat- well, uhhh here is some of the information I gathered .. I can just come back if  your...
And then he cut her off 
Josh- leave it here ill look it over.
Kat- alright (she said sharply)

Josh looked up she was gripping the files like they contained secret information. He couldn't help but stare at her crystal eyes. They put him in a trance. Like a drug that was taking over his body she had a tight little body and perfect breasts..... She had this way of always drawing him in. Dammit he thought I got to just snap the hell out of it!

Then suddnely Josh is snapped back.
Josh- I'll take them!
Kat- oh .. right.. yes here you go.
She puts them on the corner of his desk and turns and exits out as quick as she came in. 

Later that day.....................

Josh was going over the information Kat dropped off. But all he could think about was that tight blue skirt. The way it hugged her hips like she was made for it. He smacked his face and trying to get out of this trance. He looked at the time he had to meet Eden. He decided to head that way............

He headed out down the street to the coffee shop.....

 Josh ordered his coffee and saw Eden waiting super patiently.  He headed over and sat next to Eden. She had on some black glasses. She looked very sexy and studious.

Eden- I'm glad you told me to meet you here.
Josh- me too  it's been ugh been a day that's for sure!
Eden-I am sorry...
Josh- oh apart of the job.
Eden- I bet being a detective can be challenging. 
Josh- very... but rewarding...

Josh talked about how busy police duty is.. Then  Eden lightly placed her hand on his thigh. He would be lying if he said he didn't like it. But his mind was other places. Eden was very beautiful and he would love her affection but he was thinking in a very different way at the moment.

Eden- I ... Im sorry I didn't mean to be so forthcoming * batting her eyes*
Josh- no, no your fine.. look.... your very beautiful and I am very attracted to you . Its... just ... ugh right now isn't the best timing.
Eden- no your right I was just being to ahead of myself. 
Josh- please don't say that. Your beautiful and very sexy its just i...i... am getting over someone. 
Eden- I totally understand 

Josh stared at Eden. He liked her and he wanted to explore those feelings but all his mind was bombarded with was Kat. And at the moment he was just feeling off. 
He stood up.
Josh- well I must go I need to finish working on some stuff. 
I'll call you later?
Eden- ok, yea that would be great!!
He left leaving Eden siting there a little confused but she knew that she liked him an she would wait it out.


THAT EVENING 

Eden was busy reading her latest romance novel. You had me at the first hello by local author Cameron.
Eden was on page 56 and it was a juicy novel. It was about a firefighter who rescued a lady from a fire and then the two spent a passion filled evening together.
On page 56 she read 

" He gripped her hips and drew her in closer. Making her heart beat like a drum and she could feel herself becoming aroused by his touch. Then he picked her up and laid her down. He straddled her and he was about to enter her sweet and wet opening.
Cameron had a way of always making her stories so life like. AND THEN SHE HEARD A KNOCK ON THE DOOR............

Eden was startled as she was very into the novel. She realized it was Josh. What was he doing here so late at night. Why wouldn't he have called?

She got up and headed to the door. As she opened it Josh came in. 

Eden- Hiii * she said a little nervous*
Josh- hey * with a husky hunger in his voice*
Eden and Josh stared at one another. Seemed like an eternity. 
Eden- wha..what are you doing here? *swallowing*
Josh- I could not stop thinking of you and that strong grip on my thigh you had earlier. Eden- oh.... * she said with a cracking in her voice*

Josh then came in thru the door and pushed her up against the wall. His strong arms made her turned on even more.

Josh- I wanna explore with you...
Eden- i... ugh *swallows* thought you .. umm weren't ready? 
Josh- mmm I believe I am
Josh groaned with such a strong passion in his eyes. He kept looking into Eden's eyes then to her mouth. Her lips were begging to be kissed and nibbled on. 

Josh- *kiss* I *kiss* want you.... ( breathing heavy)
Eden- *kiss* lets go *kiss* up to my *kiss* room. 
Josh- yea you sure *smiling thru kissing* 
Eden- very sure 
Josh- mmmmmm *kiss* lead *kiss* the way .
Josh grunted as he followed behind and she lead him to her room.. He wanted to feel her and all of her... His hand hands gripping on her sweet spots.

Josh looked down at Eden. Her beautiful body was begging for him....
He grabbed her hips making her body shake. She felt like she was in the novel she was reading. His strength was amazing and she wanted to feel every inch of him.

She pushed him on the bed. He was smiling at the site of this beautiful woman ready to pounce on him. Then Eden got on top of him and straddled him. She couldn't wait to be free of the clothing she could have him all over her....

The two kissed so strongly and grabbed at one another. Eden was beyond ready to have him...
Eden- I wanna feel *kiss* you
Josh continued to kiss her. She felt good on his fingertips but he was beginning to pull away. He slid off to the side leaving her to settle on the bed next to him.

Eden- I am sorry was it something I said? 
Josh- no, not at all ... ugh I am just I guess not ready.
Eden- Oh I see. Wow I feel so embarrassed now.
Josh- no please don't .. I shouldn't have done this and I feel bad I never meant to make you feel led on.
Eden- No I...I don''t I am just....
Josh- look I gotta go I m sorry.

And then again he was gone as quick as he came in. Eden felt a million things. Was I not good enough. Was I just not what he wanted. Eden normally didn't sleep with a random man but she was lonely and it had been such a long time since she had the touch of a man. His touch made her feel sexy and wild. She wanted to have him naked in her bed. Caressing her body like the characters in the book she was reading.

Couple days later Josh is working on some of the case with Kat. The tension between the two is still there and he is trying everything in his power to push it away but he is so drawn to her!

             Josh- ok so the video surveillance has him there at 10:58pm that's 30 mins after the    murder. 
                Kat- so he evidently did the crime and went to the Mini Mart. 
Josh- yea but he bought zip ties and duct tape and if Donald was dead already why would he need those things?
                Kat- ok so maybe he wasn't completely finished with him.

 Kat decided to get up and go towards the desk to get a better look at the evidence. Josh could feel his chest begin to beat and he felt like the air was having a hard time releasing from his lungs.

At this point she was inches from Josh. He could feel the warmth of her skin as she brushed his arm . His mind ran wild. He tried to refuse it. Her smell was intoxicating. Dammit he wanted her.... 
Kat- ok look here he went back to that mart at 11:24pm. He bought a candy bar and a beer. Gosh this dude is so bazaar.

Kat looked up at Josh. He stared into her blue eyes they were deep like the ocean. His breathing got heavy and the lump in his throat went straight to his stomach. 
Kat- Do you ....Josh? hello?


And before he could speak the door opened and it was Darnell.

Darnell- hey you two I think we may have found a lead. Joe is on his way back with some more stuff. Y'all doing good here?

Kat just stood back Josh looked at Darnell he was curious what had been going on with these two.

Josh- yes sir were good!

Darnell- great I'll be in my office when Joe returns lets get together and discuss ok?


Before the two could answer he was on his heel and out the door shutting it behind him,

Kat came back over to the desk. Josh was holding back so much but at this point now he was a burning flame that was ready to erupt into a explosive out of control five alarm burning building. 

Then he swung around grabbed Kat and pushed her up against the brick wall..... He stared at her lips and then her eyes. He had been yearning to touch her body since she came back to Ash Harbor. The sensation he felt between her was making him draw closer.

Josh- I want you ( he whispered)
Kat looked at him and smiled.
Josh then forced his lips to her. Kissing her lips as much as he could. His tongue entered her mouth and the two were tangled for a short moment. His body was tense and was ready to give into his every desire.

In a split second she pushed him away.

Josh- what's the matter , I can lock the door.
Kat- No, no that's not it. I just.. we... this won't work Josh.
Josh- who says it can't we both know we want it.
Kat- I am not denying either way. I... really would love it. 
Josh- well come back here and let me...
Kat- Josh! 

Josh couldn't understand why she would not give in. They had a connection once before and evidently they hadn't lost it!

Josh- what's wrong?

Kat- Its just...Listen we work together this could not work.

Josh- are you kidding, we made it work before.

Kat- Look Josh when I left and went to work for Plymouth Police Dept well I got real close to one of the other detectives and that's why I am back.

Josh- I don't understand what your telling me.

Kat- well long story short he made me look like a fool and embarrassed me. He took credit for things that we worked on mutually. It was messy and that's just what scares me. 

Josh looked into her eyes. He couldn't help himself he was in love with her and always was. She really was perfect to him and he didn't want to let her go again.

Josh- well look, I have an idea. You don't wanna date at work cause your afraid of people talking or thinking that your receiving special treatment so how about when were off we give it a chance. We date outside of the PD?

Kat- really, you would be ok with that?

Josh- yea, I sure would.....

Kat thought about it for a moment. Josh was holding her still tightly in his grip. She looked at his face. He was a pile of mush when looking at her.

Kat- ok, we can see were this goes (smiling)

Josh- I like that 

And.... then the two moved in again her lips met his and she let out a sigh of pleasure. She slipped her tongue into his mouth, tasting, teasing.

Josh was returning with a moan, caressing her back. She held on grabbing tighter to him. Heat rushed immediately to her core. His hand came up and went under her shirt a little brushing her skin. 

She tore her mouth away from his and looked into his deep eyes.

Kat- lets meet later and pick up were we left off..

Josh- damn, you know how to tease me.

Kat winked....
