Julianna has dinner with Matt

                                                This is in late April....... 


Its been a few days since Julianna has heard from James. She enjoyed hearing his voice but, she was not sure jumping back into things would be a good idea. Victoria's brother Matt was living in Ash Harbor now and wanted to meet up for drinks and dinner. 

                                   Matt- I am glad you met me for dinner. He said smiling
                                  Julianna- yeah, me too. Nice to un-wind after a long week

Matt has come to see Julianna at her house a few times. Bringing coffee an even swinging by the station to see her. He can't stay away. There is something extraordinary and mysterious about her. Her soft blonde hair done in a braid to the side. Her soft pink lips. Matt wanted to kiss her half a dozen times but didn't try. Tonight he was sure to have the chance. 

       Julianna- Are you enjoying being in Ash Harbor and being close to your sister?

Matt looked up and thought about how yes being here with his sister was nice but, ever since being introduced to her life got even a little better.

Matt- yeah, its been wonderful. I have met a lot of nice people. The restaurants are out of this world. Of course my sister has been fun and well I have enjoyed meeting and spending time with you. *He smiled and Jules face got a little red. She smiled and looked down at her drink. Matt didn't wanna fight his feelings but he wanted to pursue her a little more then he already has*. 





Julianna- Oh, haha well thank you very much! I've enjoyed it as well. * Julianna felt her cheeks grow hotter and she felt a little nervous. She knew she was not with James still but, she just couldn't help but think of him.

Matt looked up at her. Dammit her eyes were like a freaking pool he thought. He wanted to get lost in them.
                                                   Matt- Julianna, your incredibly beautiful. 




Julianna wasn't sure what to say. He caught her a little off guard. Matt was a nice guy and very sweet but, right now wasn't the right time for her. Yeah, James and her were broke up and she wasn't sure that they were going to try things again but, she was just not interested in being intimate or even beginning a relationship. 

Julianna- aww thank you Matt, your so kind.


 A little time went by. The two ate and chatted. Once there food was taken away and had a refill of a drink they decided to wait on the music act. 
A tall gentleman with glasses got up and began to talk. He was there music act for the evening! 

*Declan*- Hey everyone welcome tonight I am Declan and this beautiful young lady singing along side me is Rayne. We would like to play some great music for you. Maybe a little on the romantic side. Hope yall enjoy.

Julianna got up and came around the other side of the table and sat next to Matt. He smiled at her. The two started listing to the music. A pretty girl came up and joined him with a microphone. The lights dancing in the background.

Declan (singing)

The words he sang. About until you come back home bounced off the walls of Julianna's head. James came flashing into her mind. She continued listing to them singing. Swallowing hard she felt her heart beat and hands tremble. The beautiful girl began to sing her chorus. 

(Girl)

I'm sittin' eyes wide open and I got one thing stuck in my mind
Wondering if I dodged a bullet or just lost the love of my life

Julianna tried to remain calm so that Matt wouldn't be suspicious. She continued listing not able to look at anything but the two singers. Her heart pounded. Sipping her drink trying to calm her nerves she couldn't shake the feeling of James flashing in her mind. His sexy smile. He always would give her this side grin causing her to fall apart. The way he touched her making her body ache for more. She had to just push it away. Things were not the same and may never be.

 Shortly the music began to fade away and end. Julianna was relieved. She let out a silent breath of air.


Matt looked at her, he could smell her sweet perfume. She looked so beautiful in the light. He hoped to maybe get a kiss tonight. God she was irresistible. 

Matt- hey wanna get out of here?

That sounded excellent to Julianna. She suddenly got a cold chill up her spine...

Matt- You ok? Are you cold?

Julianna- I am OK "she said smiling"




The two left the bar and headed back to Jules house. Matt had been there a few times before. Julianna didn't mind him coming over. He was only just a friend any way. 

When they came in Matt sat down while Jules went to take her shoes off and get a little comfortable. Matt smirked as he watched her remove her shoes.

He then turned his head and spotted a photo of Julianna and James on her mantel. They were close and he was holding her tight, kissing her. Matt didn't like this. He knew he was just her friend but the feelings he was acquiring this wasn't what he wanted to see. He wanted to be the one on her lips.

Julianna came over and sat down. The two began discussing how wonderful the music was tonight!

Matt- The two artists were amazing and there style was so universal.
Julianna- They were, the girl's voice really was something else! Very haunting.
Matt- yeah, I hope to see them play again for sure!!!

The two continued on talking, laughing and just enjoying the evening. It was nearing 1:00 am and Matt didn't wanna keep Julianna up too much longer.

Matt- Well, as much as I hate this evening to end, I guess I better get going

Julianna- (yawing) oh ugh... yeah... wow its almost 1 am (smiling)

Matt- yeah... you need your beauty rest!

Julianna- ( laughing) yeah, ha I guess so!

Matt got up to get ready to leave, Julianna stood up in front of him. His body was letting off tons of warmth and his eyes were very glassy looking.

Matt- Julianna, I had an amazing evening with you tonight.
Julianna- thank you! I really did too. I am glad we decided to go there. Maybe we can catch another band one night!
Matt- ( lightly speaking) yeah.....
(Matt brushed his fingers against her cheek causing her to shiver. He looked deep into her blue eyes. They were like an ocean he wanted to drown in)

Matt- *whispering* Julianna
Julianna- Yeah *she said breathless*
Matt- I... *and before he could finish he just decided to dive in, head first!)

He began to kiss her sweet lips. Letting his tongue enter her warm mouth. She didn't back away, and so he began to take more. He kissed her harder, pulling her into him. Her hands on his sides holding on. He wanted to continue kissing her. Maybe the walls were being broken between the two.  Then she abruptly pulled away. 

 Julianna- Matt, I... I am sorry... I can't do this!

Matt- Julianna, come here... please.

Julianna sat back down. She felt so stupid and so frustrated with her self. James and her where not a couple and things were not official yet for them. She shouldn't be so upset, she couldn't help but wonder what could be when he returned home.

Julianna- look Matt.... I need you to go please! I...I am sorry...
