A small little sweet look at what's been going on in the Finnick House.

It was getting to that time of year. The leaves were beginning to change, even the look of the sky had a fall look. Cheyenne was ready to decorate and get out all the fun decorations.  Sweaters, jeans and boots as well. She had some new sweaters she was itching to wear.Having a child makes it so much more enjoyable when holidays come. Paul would be home soon, so she decided to drag out the box.

As she sifts through the decorations, Claire sat on the floor in her little area wide eyed watching her mama. Cheyenne loved being a mother, it was the best thing that's ever happened to her, beside Paul.

Kneeling down and getting close, Claire cooed at the sight of her mommy.

Cheyenne- you ready to decorate baby girl. Its time for pumpkins and hot chocolate.

Claire just giggled and made usual baby noises. The sounds made Cheyenne's heart so full. Sometimes felt like a dream. This beautiful healthy almost six month old was her little angel.  The room was going to look amazing once they got it all placed out.

Cheyenne- you ready baby, lets get the pumpkins out. Daddy will be home soon.

The words daddy got Claire all excited. She sure had him wrapped around her tiny fingers. You know what they say about daddy's and their daughters!

Scooping Claire up in her arms, the got to work getting the place festive.

Cheyenne- are you ready Claire Bear, you want see a pumpkin?

Claire just squealed and drooled a little as they walked over to the box of goodie. She was sucking on her little fingers.

Cheyenne- next, we get to dress you up for your first Halloween. You will be so cute sweet pea.

Bouncing Claire on her hip, she made a mental note to check out Halloween costumes maybe the whole family could wear.

Cheyenne- look baby, what's that? that's a pumpkin. Pumpkin, Pumpkin.. Like you baby...

Claire tried to reach out for the bright orange colored pumpkin on the fire place. She was fascinated with it.

Sucking on her lips and talking her little gibberish, she held on tight to Cheyenne.

Baby's are so curious at this stage, Claire was very locked in on the bright orange pumpkin they placed out.

Placing things on shelves and making sure they were just right. Cheyenne got a queasy feeling in her stomach.. Maybe the salad she ate earlier just wasn't enough. It would be time to start supper soon. Grabbing the fall table runner & heading for the kitchen.

Once they walked into the kitchen Paul was walking in the door. Cheyenne glanced at the clock on the stove. It was 5:32pm. She swore it wasn't that late. Where did the time go?

Paul- there is my two favorite girls. Hey Claire Bear. How's daddy's little booger tonight.

Claire heard her daddy and whipped her head around quicker then a flash of lighting. She loved her daddy and he loved her.

Cheyenne- hey babe, man time has flown. I swore I still had a half hour till you would be in.

Paul- its after 5:30 baby, and there was no traffic.

Cheyenne- I didn't have a chance to get the spaghetti meat started. Hold Claire I will put this out and then I'll start.

Paul- ohh, you getting in the fall spirit I see. One of my favorite times of the year.

Cheyenne- I know, yes I wanna get it done and hopefully work on looking for some Halloween costumes for us.

Paul was excited. Halloween around Ash Harbor was fun. Getting dressed up and heading to the annual Halloween Party.

Paul- got anything in mind yet?

Cheyenne- nah, but I am thinking...

Paul loved letting her handle these things. She always enjoyed it.

Paul leaned down where Claire could see him.

Paul- you ready for mommy to dress you up little squirt.

Cheyenne got another wave of nausea. Darn it why didn't I have a sandwich, something with some substance.

Cheyenne- ok, hold her babe. I got to grab a few more things and I will do up this table. I am starving. I only had a salad today and my ribs are about to eat my backbone.

Paul- ok, come here little thing you. Let's let mommy get this done so we can eat.

Paul watched his beautiful wife as she got the table all fancy. Her decorating skills always blew him away.

As Cheyenne began moving the other items off the table she felt a little sicker. Hurrying along, she knew she would plow through a bowl of spaghetti.

Paul- what's mommy doing Claire. You hungry too baby. She's getting fussy hun.

Cheyenne- yeah, she is, I know I am.

The waves were causing her to feel weak. She was needing to hurry along to begin dinner.

Once adding all the decorations she wanted, she came over to Paul and Claire. Touching Paul's arm lightly an looking into his eyes. She was so in love with her husband. The life he has given her, it was beyond incredible.

Paul- looks good babe, your amazing you know?

Cheyenne- thanks  sweetie, I love making our home special.

Paul- oh this house is beyond special. Having this little peanut has made it much more special.

Cheyenne- she is so special isn't she.

Feeling the awful feeling again Cheyenne wasn't sure she could make it to eat. They may have to change what's on the menu.

Paul- babe, what's wrong. Your real pale?

Cheyenne- I don't know, I had a salad for lunch, I think it wasn't enough. I need to eat something.

Paul- listen how about you go upstairs and lay down. I'll cook.

Cheyenne- Ok, I will take Claire

Paul- sweetie..go lay down I got her too.

Cheyenne- you sure.

Paul- of course, your supermom, its time for a little pampering! love you babe. Let me take care of you!

Cheyenne- thanks hunny.

Grabbing a pack of orange peanut butter crackers and some water, Cheyenne headed out the room towards her bed, she smiled at the beautiful festive table... maybe if she rested and ate some crackers she would feel a little better.
